Description
A close up view of the White Sweet Clover with a few tiny insects fluttering about. The White Sweet Clover is native to Europe and Asia but was introduced here in North America during the 17th century. It was brought over primarily as forage for cattle but has now become an invasive species. It has delicate spikes of white flowers with small leaves on tall thin stems. This plant is a major source of nectar which no doubt attracted the little insects. They were more cute than repulsive so I left them in the scene.
