Description
The Eastern Yellow Swallowtail feeds on the nectar of a butterfly bush. The Eastern Yellow Swallowtail is commonly found throughout the eastern United States and is native to North America. It is easily recognized by it's distinctive black and yellow coloring, the same colors of bees and hornets, but a lot less intimidating. They are active and often seen from the spring to the fall.
