This snowy scene was captured at Sheldon Marsh State Park in northern Ohio. A tree lined snow covered path leads to a snow and ice covered Lake Erie. Across the frozen lake is a tiny glimpse of Cedar Point. The snow was about about a foot deep in most places, so getting to this location was quite challenging. The peacefulness here and the beauty of the untouched snow (because no one else in their right mind had attempted to get here) on the ground made the difficult journey worthwhile.
I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
