The long winding hiking trail at Sheldon Marsh Nature Preserve in Huron, Ohio. The setting sun cast long shadows over the trail creating a haunting effect. I've presented the scene in black and white to emphasize the drama of the shadows. Sheldon Marsh is wonderful place to go for a relaxing walk and to be surrounded by nature.
I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
