While on a stroll along the beach I came across this rather sad yet elegantly posed dead catfish. Not a recent death to be sure but the birds of prey were still interested. It's final pose gave the impression that it was trying to swim in the sand before it died. A last ditch effort at survival. Despite the morbidness of this subject I still found it to be strangely beautiful.
