This is my lovable friend Kettles, a Lab/Pit mix who has been the best dog anyone could ask for. Despite the bad reputation that Pitbull's have, I wasn't afraid to welcome Kettles into my family. She thinks of my children as her own, has never harmed any of my cat's and even welcomed another dog into the mix. All she wants is lots of food, walks in the neighborhood and people to love. She has a elegant, majestic spirit and I wanted to capture that in this portrait.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
