According to Greek mythology, the Narcissus is named after an unfortunate young man who loved looking at himself all the time. One day while admiring his reflection in a pool of water, he fell in and drowned. A flower grew from his grave and was given the young man's name, Narcissus.
The daffodil represents beauty and is given to show someone that they are the only one you admire.
I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
