The main entrance of The RainForest at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

"The RainForest opened on November 19, 1992 and recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. The building cost $30 million to build, took eight years to plan and covers two acres. You'll see more than 10,000 plants and over 600 animals across Asia, Africa and the Americas during your visit. "

This modern metal and glass entryway leads you into a lush and inviting exhibit filled with plants and animals native to the rain forest. A welcome oasis during the winter months here in Ohio.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
