An assortment of wildflowers and cattails captured in the middle of winter. Although the plants were dried and frozen, they still had an interesting structure that was quite striking against the stark white snow. The structure of the plants has been highlighted with bold splashes of rainbow color with a soft colored background.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
