A vibrant red rose from my garden. Roses will always be my favorite flower to grow, beautiful, challenging and if you're not careful dangerous. This one is growing tall and strong and producing gorgeous large blooms. It also has some wicked thorns which I've injured myself on a few times already, but I'm accident prone so no surprise there. Gloves are a clumsy gardener's best friend, unless you're prone to misplacing things like I am. Fortunately, I have an ample supply of band-aids on hand. The end results are worth the pain. I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures.
