A single drop of morning dew hangs from ripened red crabapples. Crabapples are a part of the apple family and emerge from beautiful pink blossoms in the fall. They are much smaller than the orchard apples we all are used to seeing and have a very sour taste. Because of this the crabapple tree is prized more for its ornamental value rather than as a food crop. I'm sure the local birds and wildlife appreciate the fruit way more than we do.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
