My daughter only wears one brand of shoe, the old school Converse All-Star. She has many old pairs worn out by time and use, but this particular pair holds a special place in her heart. She's drawn all over them to show her obsessive devotion to the band Nirvana and it's lead singer Kurt Cobain. Coincidentally, I did the same to my Converse when I was her age, different obsessions but still the same idea. The generation gap just got a little smaller.
I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
