This ancient remnant of what looks to have been a small dwelling reminded me a bit of Stonehenge. A much smaller less impressive Stonehenge but still an intriguing site. The mystery of Stonehenge and other places like it is an amazing source of inspiration. I wanted this painting of what was probably in truth someone's humble abode, to have it's own sense of mystery.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
