A beautiful golden sunset over the Sandusky coal dock on the bay. The Sandusky Coal Dock is one of Sandusky Ohio's most iconic industrial facilities and quite active as well. Coal arrives by train and each rail car is loaded with 100 tons of coal. The rail cars are lifted up individually by the high lift dumper and unloaded onto large freighter ships. A sort of roller coaster ride for train cars and quite fascinating to watch.
I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
