A riot of colors and odd shapes all jumble together to create this "Paper Circus". This mixed media collage features a variety of materials, hand painted paper, lace, sandpaper and bits of a towel that I had to sacrifice. All these things together reminded me of the overwhelming sights of the circus.
I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums. I also enjoy making detailed collages using recycled materials, in this way I can do my part to help the environment and create something beautiful. Thank you for visiting!
