This collage features a white crane patiently waiting for an opportunity to catch his breakfast. I spotted this crane at Sheldon Marsh Nature Preserve in Huron, Ohio. The marsh has a large wetland which is home to a variety of aquatic birds. This collage was created from 100% recycled paper from magazines and junk mail.
I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
