Over the past few years it has felt like little slices of my heart were being systematically cut out. With each loss a little bit more was taken, leaving in it's place an insatiable empty void feeding off of my remaining hope and optimism. I didn't let it consume me, I refused to let it win.
Pen and ink with digital color and cutesy floral wallpaper to lighten the mood because lord knows I can never be truly serious, even when I mean to be.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums. I also enjoy making detailed collages using recycled materials, in this way I can do my part to help the environment and create something beautiful. Thank you for visiting!
