Every time mom brings me new things to play with I get so excited. They squish real good in my mouth and roll around so I can chase them. They're my new best friends but mom likes to throw them across the room! Why?? I run after them fast as I can before she can throw them again but sometimes they roll into the dark place. That awful place where they lie just out of reach of my paws. If I try to dig or chew a hole to get to them mom gets mad at me so I just lie here staring at my lost friends. Ohh!! mom brought me another squishy thing, hooray!!

This was a part of my inktober 2017 series and is pen and ink. I had a lot of fun during the challenge and will continue to create little stories for each one that I put in my gallery.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
