Description
The Common Grackle perched on a tree branch in the forest. The grackle can be found all over North America and is easily identified by it's iridescent feathers. They have black feathers with either blue, purple or green iridescence. They have a rather harsh bird song that can sound like power lines buzzing but can also mimic the sounds of other birds and even humans. Can you imagine walking along in the forest alone and hearing your own voice repeated back to you! Nature is amazing as always.
