Bonsai is a traditional Japanese organic art form. Trees are grown in low sided trays or pots and their growth is kept under strict control. The purpose of bonsai is for contemplation and appreciation by the viewer. For the grower, the joy of creation and satisfaction of watching it slowly take shape over the years. These little trees if properly cared for can live for generations but this will vary from tree to tree.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums. I also enjoy making detailed collages using recycled materials, in this way I can do my part to help the environment and create something beautiful. Thank you for visiting!
