A lonely looking mountain chickadee faces the shadowy wall of his enclosure. He looks at the fake sky painted on the wall in front of him perhaps longing for freedom or maybe enjoying a peaceful moment to himself before the steady stream of visitors invade his bird sanctuary.
Fun fact about mountain chickadees: They are also known as "Cheeseburger Birds" because their call sounds like they are saying "cheese-bur-ger."

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures.
