A classic still life with a colorful twist. A detailed color study of a lemon surrounded by a grid of multicolored squares. I tried to paint every hue that I could possibly see in the fruit. The lemon has a surprising array of color in it if you look at intensely enough.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
