While on a nature walk I happened along these striking shadows from the trees above. When I inverted the photo it took a dramatic turn from shadows on the pavement to an intriguing abstract. The leaves provide a touch of cobalt blue.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
