Description
Lovely fuchsia pink thistles dot the landscape along the Sandusky Bay nature trail. This trail is a winding long walk along the water of Sandusky Bay where a variety of coastal plants and wetland wildlife can be observed. These thistles can be found blooming during both the spring and summer months here in Ohio. Be cautious when walking through a field of these because the thistle is covered with spiky stems and leaves. Not fun to step on at all.
