Description
The dried seed pod of Queen Anne's Lace in it's final stages. Although the showy flower is spent, the attractive seed pods they leave behind still have a beauty of their own. This plant can sometimes be mistaken for many similar varieties, including the deadly poison Hemlock. The leaves of this plant are harmful as well and caution should be taken when handling.
This shot was taken at Old Woman Creek in Huron, Ohio.
