A cluster of honey mushrooms growing from a tree stump and surrounded by dried leaves. I found these while on a walk through the woods in Milan Ohio. This honey yellow fungi typically grows on trees and shrubs, living off live and decaying material. Such a cute little mushroom but at the same time a dangerous forest pathogen, who would of thought?

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
