A happy little dancing iguana painted in the sumi-e style. Iguanas are one of my favorite reptiles and it was fun painting this one. They have beautiful bright green scales, expressive eyes and coolest of all, a natural mohawk. They are definitely one of the most stylish reptiles. It was challenging to choose only a few of the many ornate details of the iguana to express the essence of this lizard.

I come from a creative family who loved art, music, photography and sometimes random hiking adventures. I am thankful to them for giving me the gift of curiosity, creativity and a love of the natural world. I incorporate all of these aspects into my work and enjoy working with a variety of mediums.
